We have decided to end our web hosting business. What are the impacts for our customers?
Since its creation in 2004, Netim has always been committed to providing its clients with a reliable, high-performance and high-quality service. Firstly with Plesk licences, then in 2020 with the launch of our own web hosting services, we wanted to offer you a complete solution, in addition to our domain name registrar activities.
Today, we have made the decision to cease our web hosting activities. This refocus reflects our desire to fully concentrate on our area of expertise, so that we can continue to support you in the best possible way by providing efficient customer support and optimised services for the management and security of your domain names.
A smooth transition with hosting.fr
Today, to ensure the continuity of your hosting services as smoothly as possible, and to continue to guarantee you a high level of quality in a constantly evolving sector, we have chosen to entrust the hosting of your websites to a trusted partner: hosting.fr, a subsidiary of the German group hosting.de GmbH.
This web hosting specialist, founded in 2006 and based in Aachen, Germany, shares our standards in terms of service quality and will be able to go even further in the services and solutions offered.
In concrete terms:
- No price increases are expected (except for domain registry price rises, which will be passed on);
- hosting.fr servers will remain in Europe (France, Germany, Belgium, Hungary, Luxembourg);
- Customer support will be available in French, English or German.
